Absolutely amazing!  Some of the best food in Nashville.  Had the catfish, slaw and jambalaya. I am from Louisiana and am very picky about seafood and fish.  The catfish was fried perfectly, was well seasoned and tasted fresh.  The jambalaya was on point and slaw was fabulous.  They had Abita beer too.

The only thing that wasn't to my liking was the hush puppy done in a waffle iron needed to be briefly fried to get it crispy on the outside.  They also  had some great looking cakes and pies which I didn't try.  Will definitely be back!

    Update 12/11/18
I came back for lunch. I ordered the pork belly taco, blackened gator taco and a side of fries. Major change in food preparation this time around. My gator taco was cold and messily prepared. The remoulade sauce was plopped in one section. The pork taco was the fatty pieces of pork belly with no meat. The taco came with slaw, pineapples and an Asian sauce on a flour tortilla. The pineapples were refrigerator cold and the Asian sauce was very sweet. The fries were amazing! So disappointed I this experience. Didn't have time to wait for more food so I kept it moving and ate my lunchable in my car for lunch instead.

I came in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Oh come in and order at the counter then take your number and wait at your seat. I ordered the brisket plate with a waffle hush puppy, broccoli salad and jambalaya. The brisket came out with a side of bbq sauce which was sweet and smoky. The brisket was fork tender and I was fortunate enough to get some burnt ends. I moved to TN from TX so I know my brisket and this brisket was well worth the drive to Spring Hill. The broccoli salad is fresh with large florets, chopped red onion and craisins. The jambalaya has big chunks of chicken and is topped with green onions. The hush puppy batter is pressed into a waffle making is crispy on the outside but with a fluffy center. Everything on my plate was stellar. 5 stars!

My wife and I finally stopped in and WOW! Our new favorite in Spring Hill! Wish we hadn't waited so long to try it.

What a cool place! Seems like everywhere I go in Spring Hill, I run into surprises. Delta Bound is one of those. The food is unique -- all southern style, and they take the time to share the sources for their food right there at the ordering counter. Following the example of my fellow Yelpers, I went with the catfish street taco and added an A.L.T. (avocado, lettuce and tomato) taco and coleslaw. It all worked perfect, although next time I'm going to ask them to add some of those fresh jalapenos to the catfish taco. Yum!

Wife got the crab cake plate and it was also delicious - she chose fries and broccoli slaw for her sides and they were also fresh and delicious. Service is great and very friendly. Very good (mostly local) beer selection and a 2/$7 special on when we were there.

Didn't get to the desserts, but I saw gluten-free banana pudding in the fridge!

TIP: Get there early, the line at the counter was forming when we left at 6pm.
